The Role

We're looking for a QA Automation Engineer with a strong foundation in manual testing and solid JavaScript skills. While automation is part of your responsibilities, this role leans heavily into manual QA - we need someone who’s curious, meticulous and passionate about catching edge cases before users do.

You’ll collaborate closely with developers and fellow QA engineers to ensure that what we ship is reliable, intuitive and bug-free.

📍 Preferred Location: Candidates located in South America or other regions aligned with US time zones are strongly preferred to maximize collaboration.

What You'll Do

• Perform detailed manual testing of new features and improvements
• Write and execute functional and exploratory test cases
• Maintain and expand our Playwright-based automation framework (JavaScript)
• Run proofs of concept for tools and frameworks to improve our QA process
• Work hand-in-hand with developers and product teams to catch issues early
• Own quality throughout the development lifecycle

What We’re Looking For

• Solid experience in manual QA (this is the primary focus)
• Strong understanding of test case design, edge cases and exploratory testing
• Experience with JavaScript and Playwright (or similar frameworks)
• Familiarity with mobile testing (manual and/or automated)
• Experience working in agile teams in fast-paced environments
• Self-driven mindset: you investigate, learn and solve independently
• Clear and professional communication in English (B2+)

Nice to Have

• Experience with test management tools like TestRail, Xray, etc.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs and tools like Postman or Insomnia
