What you bring

• 4+ years of experience with modern full-stack JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong English communication (written and verbal).
• Experience building production-level SaaS or marketplace applications.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication, authorization, and scalable architecture.
• Located in Latin America and available to work in U.S. time zones (CST/EST).

About Pangeti
Pangeti is a B2B marketplace connecting manufacturers across the Americas with global buyers—essentially an Alibaba for the Americas. We’re an early-stage startup with over 20,000 users on the waitlist and an MVP near completion. This role is part of a small, high-impact team that will finalize and scale our platform to enable cross-border trade in the Americas.

• Collaborate with the founder and lead engineer to finalize, optimize, and scale the MVP.
• Develop, maintain, and improve both frontend and backend features using a modern full-stack JavaScript stack.
• Implement secure and scalable RESTful APIs, real-time chat features, and user dashboards.
• Integrate third-party services (Stripe for payments, Cloudinary for image management, and messaging services).
• Participate in architectural decisions and help plan and execute next feature releases post-launch.
• Write clean, well-documented code and contribute to test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with product and design to ship polished features with good UX sensitivity.

Experience with B2B marketplaces or e-commerce platforms, UI/UX sensibility with an eye for polished features, familiarity with real-time chat or messaging functionality, and a track record of shipping impactful features at early-stage startups.
